The representative of Ikorodu Federal Constituency, Rep. Babajimi Adegoke Benson has lauded the smart school initiative of Omo’ba Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun (HOA), Executive Chairman, Igbogbo/Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (IBLCDA), as a bold move to redefine learning experience for children through technology.
Rep. Benson, who was part of the ground breaking ceremony of Zumratul Islamiyyah Smart Primary School project in Igbogbo, initiated by Omo’ba Aroyewun, gave the commendation during the week.
The ground breaking ceremony of the smart school which is first of its kind in Lagos State by any local government administrator held on Monday in commemoration of the council boss’ first year in office anniversary, with many dignitaries and stakeholders in attendance.
“I had the pleasure of joining the good people of Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA for the official foundation-laying ceremony of what promises to become one of the most ambitious basic education projects in Lagos State – a Smart Primary School that will redefine the learning experience for our children through technology-driven education.”
“This visionary project is a clear demonstration that investing in education remains one of the most enduring investments any society can make. By creating a learning environment where innovation, digital technology and modern teaching tools take centre stage, we are preparing our children not just for today’s world, but for the opportunities of tomorrow,” he said.
Rep. Benson, commending the council boss’ leadership in the grassroots, said that the project would expand educational opportunities available for children.
“I commend the Executive Chairman of Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA, Omo’ba Hammed Ọlálékan Aroyewun, for his foresight, courage and unwavering commitment to expanding educational opportunities for our young people. Initiatives such as this continue to affirm that purposeful leadership is measured not merely by promises made, but by lasting legacies delivered.
“Congratulating Aroyewun on his first year in office, the Ikorodu federal lawmaker also assured that he, on his part, will continue to build Ikorodu for the future.
“As he marked one year in office yesterday, I warmly congratulate him on this important milestone and wish him continued wisdom, strength and greater accomplishments in the service of the good people of Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA.
